Fantastic article! ShoeHunting definitely fits these trends. ShoeHunting is a social shopping network for those who love shoes. Members can save shoes they find from anywhere online, and then rate and share them with their friends.

Most online shopping is impulse, when someone sees a good deal on something they want, they snag it. Hence, sites like www.dealighted.com which show 150 of hot product deals everyday posted by people to deal sites like fatwallet, slickdeals, gottadeal, are the way to go these days to make sure you don't overpay. Course if you don't know what to buy, you can check reviews/buzz sites like wize.com, epinions.com.

[...] Though ostensibly aimed at those clearing out their lofts, the underlying message really seems to be for buyers here: what could be more reassuring, after all, than the thought that once they’ve finished with their new purchase, they have a ready-made forum to sell it on to the next buyer?
Fascinating! The way eBay has changed the buying habits of so many people. I have never used eBay, because I am not a big shopper and because I did not want to have to deal with being taken. But the CompUSA-eBay program might change the security of eBay purchasing.

Thanks for this report.

[...] The one-more-before-the-door award goes to Nelly Lide, guestblogging at Small Business Trends, for “Shopping Trends for 2007” because anyone with an online business should be generally aware of possible shopping trends, and especially so if your online businesses involves retail sales. I was especially intrigued by Trend #4, Social Shopping, and will poke around the five sites listed as examples. [...]
