Welcoming Submissions for Blawg Review
On Monday I will be hosting the upcoming Blawg Review here at Small Business Trends. And I welcome your entries.
I used to be a lawyer. That may come as a surprise, unless you happened to know me back when I was a corporate general counsel.
Most of my career was spent inside corporations. Over time I just kept moving farther away from the law, toward business. Eventually I started my own business.
So it’s not much of a stretch for me to host Blawg Review. Traditionally, Blawg Review is a weekly roundup of blog posts from blawgs (law+ blogs = blawgs). But when I hosted Blawg Review once before it was a cross-over edition, focusing on law posts of interest to businesses, and business posts of interest to lawyers. The next edition of Blawg Review will do the same:
- Law blawgers, I’m looking especially for posts that touch on business topics: contracts, buying and selling businesses, tax law issues, court decisions that affect businesses, corporate governance, law office management, marketing to clients, and similar topics.
- Business bloggers, you’re invited too. Submit posts that might be of interest to lawyers — such as marketing or social media for lawyers, or technology tools that lawyers may find helpful. Hey, if I can cross over between the law and business, so can you.
Submit your entry at Blog Carnival. Deadline is Saturday, September 15, 2007, at 11:59 pm Pacific time.
