Have a Laugh While You Look at Your Business Results

Wilson Ng, one of the community of Small Biz Experts here and a long-time business blogger, has started a cartoon series at It’s NGenius. Here’s a sample cartoon showing business results we don’t necessarily want to see (click image to see a larger version in a new window):

It's NGenius - business humor

The cartoons are sponsored by NGenius, a Philippine chain of computer stores and Ng Khai Development Corporation, a leading Philippine systems integrator. Both companies were founded by Wilson, who also writes the Biz Driven Life blog.

The main character of the cartoon strip is eNGy, the general manager of a technology company. In some ways (such as the name) eNGy bears an interesting resemblance to Wilson Ng. And judging from Wilson’s photo the character seems to look a little like him, also. However, in the About section of the website Wilson points out that cartoons are based on exaggeration and don’t necessarily reflect reality. Wilson is assisted in the series by artist Clifford Remolador and Rio Calle.

Business cartoons seem to be a bit of a trend.  I don’t recall seeing so many as in the past year or two.  Maybe we can get Wilson to come over and tell us a little more about his business goals for the cartoon series.

  4. What a great cartoon! It’s good to laugh. A good marketing consultant could add a sales chairlift going up the side of one of those mountains!
