NFIB Contest – Win $5,000 and Summit Invite

NFIB National Small Business SummitThe National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is sponsoring a contest. The Grand Prize Winner receives a $5,000 cash prize and an all expense paid trip to Washington D.C. to attend the June 8-11, 2008 National Small Business Summit.

To enter, create a video that answers the question: Why is Small Business Good for America? Videos will be accepted until May 15, 2008. Videos will be posted on YouTube and will be judged based on three criteria:

  • Originality (50 percent)
  • Overall creativity (25 percent)
  • How well the video answers the “Why Does Small Business Work for America?” question (25 percent)

The Summit is described this way:

The 2008 National Small Business Summit, “We Are Stronger Together,” presented by the National Federation of Independent Business and eBay, brings together small business owners from around the country to meet their lawmakers face-to-face and share their experiences about how Washington , D.C. decisions affect small businesses. The Summit will focus on top small business legislative priorities, including healthcare reform efforts, and also will examine the political landscape leading into the November elections.

  3. Deborah, I would be nice, but I have to plan my visit to America for a longer time.

  4. I have to have more time for preparation for my future trip to USA. I have plenty of individuals and places I want to meet and visit.

  5. That’s a wonderful prize! Hope we will get to see the winning video. It will be interesting to see the ideas & creativity the winner uses.

    We will post the winning video and will promote it on NFIB.com and on the Summit site. The winner will get to meet the U.S. Presidential candidates who are invited to come.
