The BizE Awards are the Chamber’s salute to small business. Nominees and winners are recognized for their contributions and dedication to excellence in small business in Southern Nevada.

The BIZ E Awards luncheon was held on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at the RIO Hotel and Casino. Members of the Southern Nevada business community, as well as many of Nevada’s political leaders were on hand at the event.
As part of the ceremony, Big Feet Pajama Co. was honored with proclamations by: Nevada Governor, Jim Gibbons, Nevada Senators, John Ensign and Harry Reid, Nevada Representatives, Shelley Berkley, Jon Porter and Dean Heller, and Las Vegas Mayor, Oscar B. Goodman.
“Las Vegas is known for the best in entertainment, hotels, shopping and restaurants in the world, and now we are also becoming known for the great ideas that our local entrepreneurs are bringing to the table,” Mayor Goodman said. “Big Feet Pajama Co. is a great example of the city’s growing economic
