Even Santa Wants a Federal Bailout

Santa at Congressional Bailout HearingsGeez!  Everyone wants a Federal bailout these days, even Santa Claus.

When asked why the costs had gone up and a bailout at the North Pole was needed to survive, Santa says it is due to changing market conditions and an unprepared workforce:

“What really gets us into this position was the tech gifts these kids want now.  You really think a bunch of elves who are used to whittling baseball bats can reverse-engineer an iPod, figure it out, and then build 700 million of them?”

Yeah, blame it on the kids and the elves, Santa ….

  1. That’s funny. Even Santa can’t keep up with the technology demands. :)

  2. Santa better not be using that money to give himself a nice corporate bonus check while the elves and reindeer get laid off!

  3. The solution to Santa’s problem will be solved by a hostile takeover by a group of corporate raiders from the Arctic Circle in Finland! :) My middle name is “Rudy”, so I want to wish you a Merry & commercial X-mas and a prosperous New Year with the song, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” by Regis Philbin, featuring Donald Trump. http://kaaju.notlong.com

  4. Best line: “I’ll put some elf dung under your tree. Try getting that out of your carpet. It’s like napalm!”

i didn’t know the lil buggers were so potent…

  5. Santa had a good point about Sleigh’s being green…heck, if we all started taking sleighs to work we’d fix global warming, reduce our dependency on foreign oil, and save money on gas all in one shot!

  6. Hi Anita,

What does federal bailout means? How does it work?

  7. Anita,
