Ever Want to Ask My Advice? Here’s Your Chance
Join me — and 12 other talented women — for Business Advice Day tomorrow, January 20, 2009. We’ll be offering advice and you don’t have to pay a thing. Just show up at the forum and ask away.
We’ve got dedicated times and topics. My time is 10:30 AM Eastern time (same time as New York). I’ll be talking about business operations and trends. You can ask me anything, including about my own experiences. But just to get you started, here are some sample questions you might be interested in:
- What can I do in this economy to keep my business profitable?

Hi Anita,
I would like to know if it’s possible to legally register a business, provide all government mandated benefits to its employees even if you are a home based business? Is that possible?
So the situation will now become: A business officially registered, taxes will be paid, employee benefits will be given but the only difference is– you don’t have a physical office because all your staff are home based.
[...] integral aspect of my character and personal brand.
What a great idea…but you forgot one woman who is possibly the nation’s foremost small business expert! Karyn Greenstreet is also nationally known author, lecturer, and small business coach. Her website, passionforbusiness.com, gets almost 1 million hits per month. She might be someone to consider next time around…
Hi Anita,
My question, after the event now, is about whether you will be posting a link to a podcast or transcript so the slow among your followers can keep up…
Thanks
TJ
Anita,
Have a good one!
I can’t attend the discussion. I am occupied in the evening (Central European Time). I ask the same question as TJ McCue: Will it be a transcript later on?
Yes, there will be a transcript. But just give me a few days to clean up nearly seven hours of chat logs!
Thanks again for participating Anita – the day was a huge hit!
Anita, what advice would you give to those who are facing financial hurricane which is jolting businesses and people around the world? Many big companies are losing market share to small rivals. So, there are many losers and some winners in the boom and bust cycles. Many people in the business world are concerned about insufficient finance, doom and gloom, ground realities, insolvency and bankruptcy in the turbulent local and global markets. Even top lawyers, accountants, market analysts and auditors are already fired and facing long-term unemployment. There are no short-cuts for sustainable success and prosperity. Businesses need bespoke turnaround survival strategies to reduce losses, improve organic and inorganic efficiency, increase revenue, gain sustainable competitive advantage, improve strategic positions, and outperform market competition. The results add real business values; create new business opportunities and jobs for investors who target niche, captive markets where consumer demand still continues to grow in double-digits annually to 2030. http://www.FixyaExperts.com
