Working a lot with developing areas as well as highly developed areas, I see increased mobile use and often as single entry point. But I have to agree that .mobi is just one of many solutions. I hope we are reduced to Twitters, but one never knows for sure. It sure is nice to get a complete sentence every once in a while. One thing I would like to add to your list is the opportunities to build bridges for growing business in both developing and developed countries.
