Just how good is Twitter in hekping a small business get the word out there?

Hey Anita,
Now what we all need is a tool (and I thought I saw one out there) that let’s you put a keyword search within your personal “Twitter River” then into an RSS feed, specifically by that keyword, so you can break down the river into manageable streams. And if we can’t make it a stream, then we better start building Twitter White Water Kayaks so we can manage the flow!!

I didn’t find the tool I tried a few weeks ago, but i did find this post by Eric Berlin at WebWorkerDaily:

Some great ideas for managing the flow at Eric’s post and the links out of his post are good, too.

And, of course, you can create RSS feeds from Twitter already with search terms, but I was hunting for the searches within my network of Twi…what? That is the problem with Twitter — how do you refer to your buddies? Calling them Twits or Tweeters or Twitterers are all non-starters.

We need super cartoonist Mark Anderson to demystify this!!!

Hi Deborah, Thanks for pointing out that we should clarify when the list was last updated, right on the list itself.

Yes, the list was updated just this past week (March 2009). I’ve edited the original to indicate the last update time.

Nice list. I’d also recommend following Frank Kern (@masscontrolkern). He’ll occasionally link to a video he’s made, but he’s mainly just an interesting marketer to follow.
