BlogWorld ExpoBlogWorld & New Media Expo is a trade show and conference for those who want to learn about social media, blogging, podcasting and other new media.

This is an annual event and this year it is being held on October 15 – 17, 2009 in exciting Las Vegas, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

  1. BlogWorld was on my list until an offer to speak at another event arrived.

I attended the conference two years ago and walked away with insights and strategies that increased my productivity, memorable photographs with individuals I’d previously met online, and new marketing ideas from exhibitors more than willing to become online partners.

Create an agenda before you arrive on what you wish to accomplish, and you won’t be disappointed with the long-term results.

  2. Glad to hear your stamp of approval, Shirley. It’s one of the first national conferences for blogging. Coming from you, the recommendation means a lot.

  3. Anita,

Have a great time in Las Vegas! I hope I will be able to attend it next year.

  4. Another follow friday on twitter lead me to a few friends that lead me to a blog about blogworld which lead me to this posting.

AWESOME. I am looking forward to the information and it is great to see that small business is going to be addressed at the blogworld. This link is now passed on to a couple of brick mortar biz people as well as my online friends. I write for ehow (alrady) and I am always looking for information! Thanks for great resource.

  5. Anita,
I am so happy that I attended last year. I got to meet several people that I had been interacting with online face to face, and that in itself made the price of admission worth it.

I will be attending again, this year!

    Will you be there, Anita?

  6. Joel,

I was thinking of asking the same question to Anita, and then I read her post again:

“Small Business Trends is proud to be a media partner in the event for the second year in a row,…”

My wild guess is that Anita will be there…

Have fun Joel! Will you check out some gambling franchises?! 😉 I haven’t been in Las Vegas. I had a room mate during college who studied culinary & hospitality and then went working at a hotel in Nevada. I have to catch up with him and see what he his doing nowadays. Talking social media, Facebook has been a great tool for me to get in touch with old classmates and students from Southern New Hampshire University.
