Learn How to Get Invited On Radio Shows or Host a Podcast

podcasted100x167

Podcasts and radio shows are proven ways to gain business exposure.  If you’ve ever considered starting your own podcast or would like to learn how to get invited on radio and podcast shows, please join me in a free webinar.

I’ve been host of my own Internet radio / podcast series for five years.  In that time I have conducted over 300 interviews of small business people and stakeholders.  So I have a pretty good idea of what it takes to make a memorable impression as a guest.

And what if you aspire to become the host of your own podcast or Internet radio show?  Been there, done that — I can help you get started with that, too.  And to know when it’s right for you and your business.

This Friday I will be joining Jenna Jantsch of Vertical Response in a webinar.

During this free webinar, small business owners, PR people and marketing managers will find answers to questions such as:

  • What are the basics of hosting your own podcast or talk show series on places like BlogTalkRadio.com?
  • How do you get exposure by being a guest on a show?
  • How do you find podcast shows to appear on?
  • What tips will make you the kind of guest who gets invited back?
  • How do you make podcasts and radio work with your current marketing tactics?

Here are the Webinar details:

When: Friday, October 23, 2009 This webinar is now over, but you can watch and listen to the recorded webinar here.

Cost: Free

Topic: Get Business Exposure by Hosting or Speaking on Podcasts and Radio

I’d love to have you join us!  And yes, it will be archived so if you miss it, you can listen later.

  1. Anita,

I look forward to this webinar very much! My goal is to come up with podcasts on a regular basis. The challenge has been the technology and get everything in order. The producer of Solidvox has put together his own studio. I will keep you informed about the progress! :)

I am “2 zeroes” behind you! ;) I have done 3 interviews. If you are interested in listening to the interviews, please click on my name! :)

  2. This is great! Looking forward to the event.
We have a small business and want someone to learn using podcasts.

  3. I am sorry I missed your webinar, do you have a replay of it,

  4. Hi Sam, the replay will be available on Monday, along with a long list of links to resources alluded to during the presentation. I think you will find it very helpful.

  5. Anita: It was a great webinar with plenty of resources to check out. I “scribbled” down several things that I will explore and use for my own podcast show on SolidVox and if I start something new by myself.

Sam: You could find some live notes from the webinar if you go to search.twitter.com and search for hashtag #SMSVR

  6. Hi Martin, Thank you for the kind words, and thank you for “live tweeting” the presentation. Much appreciated.

  7. Anita,

You are welcome! :) It was fun to live tweet during the webinar. Jenna Jantsch did a great job, coordinating the questions from the participants. Have you had VerticalResponse on your radio show? I got curious about the company, after reading the Twitter bio @VR4SmallBiz:

“We make small businesses look like giants with the easiest way to build, send and track email marketing messages, surveys and direct mail postcards online.”

  8. Anita,

How do I get access to the archived Webinar about getting invited to radio shows and podcasts?

    Thanks!

  9. Maria, Yes indeed you can watch / listen to the recorded webinar. I updated the post above with the recorded webinar. I can be found here:
