Committee Holds Roundtable Examining Tax Incentives for Small Businesses


Washington (PRESS RELEASE – December 1, 2009) — On Thursday, December 3, 2009, the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship will hold a roundtable entitled “What is Working: Tax Incentives to Aid Small Business Recovery.” Senator Mary Landrieu, D-La., will open the staff-led roundtable which will examine the strengths and weaknesses of the 2009 expiring federal tax provisions, or “extenders,” and determine their effectiveness on small businesses.
