Unleashing Bold Initiatives

For whatever reason, sometimes I get into a topic and ideas just flood into my head. The above cartoon came during one such time when I’d seen a drawing of Rapunzel in a children’s book.

Rapunzel offers all sorts of possibilities!

There’s the hair, of course, and the prince, the tower, the witch, the rhyme. . . then you can branch out into shampoo, knots, rock climbing, etc.  Once I started thinking about Rapunzel, I wrote a good dozen jokes in about five minutes or so.

The above cartoon is one of my favorites because it’s so far removed from the actual scene.  I think it illustrates that there’s always opportunity to breath new life into old topics.

    Mark,

Is Rapunzel a character in a children’s book? In Sweden you have Pippi Longstocking with a special type of hairdo! 😉

  2. I believe everything published was very reasonable. But, what about this?
suppose you composed a catchier title? I ain’t saying your information isn’t solid,
however suppose you added something that makes people want more?
I mean Landing An Account – Small Business Trends is
kinda vanilla. You might peek at Yahoo’s front page and note how they create news titles
to grab people to open the links. You might add
a related video or a pic or two to grab people excited about what you’ve
written. Just my opinion, it might make your posts a little livelier.
