Another Killer App

Unleashing Bold Initiatives

Sadly, the above cartoon doesn’t have a great original story to go along with it. I read “killer app” in the paper, and this cartoon just sort of popped out. It’s rare, but it happens.

But getting the victim’s face juuuuuuust right probably took me the better part of a day.

My studio floor was littered with sketches of faces in various gruesome poses. Some were much too far (skull and skeleton), some weren’t far enough (body slumped over on desk), but for whatever reason the combination of the one closed eye and the tongue sticking out says “dead, but funny dead” to me.
