Office Copiers and Paper Jams

Unleashing Bold Initiatives

I assume that this cartoon speaks to pretty much everyone in business, because at every single job I had before becoming a cartoonist, there was… DUM DUM DUMMM… the copier.

The copier whose diagrams promised a quick fix. The copier that after a solid hour of cajoling refused to collate. The copier that ate my contract. (I swear I heard it chortle.)

So one day, at my desk, in full site of coworkers and management, I drew this cartoon, inked it, and taped it above the copier to much acclaim.

I’d like to think that maybe I shamed that copier into behaving better, but I think more likely I just made it angry.

    Mark,

I will tell a fellow BNI member about your cartoon. He is working at Konica Minolta.
