Are You a Go-Getter?
A friend and I were chatting about a mutual acquaintance one day when he remarked, “Well, you know him; he’s a real go-getter!”
So, being that smart aleck that I am, I came back with, “Yep, a real hunter-gatherer. That’s him.” To which he responded, “A classic bringer-backer, yes indeed!”
It went back and forth like this for a good while until I finally trumped him with, “He’s a retriever for sure! Good boy!!”
So not only did I win our odd little game of one-upmanship, but, as you can see, I got a cartoon out of the deal!
