The Creation of Adam
In case you can’t tell, that’s a sales graph being touched by God a la “The Creation of Adam” from Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel ceiling. File this one under “Seemed Like A Good Idea at the Time.”
Looking back now there are a number of problems with this cartoon: 1) Giving life to a sales graph is OK, but not immediately obvious, 2) Trying to cram part of a Michelangelo fresco into a PowerPoint in a cartoon is difficult at best, and 3) Huh?!
You know, though, if you just sort of gloss over it quickly, it kind of works. OK, refile this under “Let’s Not Think About This Too Long.”
