It’s Lonely at the Top
This is a cartoon that started out as a doodle while I was on the phone. I suspect a good many of us are phone doodlers, and it probably never goes beyond whatever call we might be on. But after my call, I was left with what looked like a lawyer, a businessperson, and a problem: Who were these guys, and what were they talking about?
It’s obviously some sort of legal issue, and it looked to me like the guy on the right was in trouble. I played with different takes on the phrase “corporate malfeasance” for awhile, and considered a couple of insider trading jokes, but it seemed to me that the man on the right looked a little sad. And then the above caption hit me.
