The Devil Is In the Details
I’m a big believer in focusing on the little things. On my site, for example, I’ve dithered for days on just a few pixels, wanting to get things to look just so. Of course, it can easily be taken too far, but I think the details matter.
I was discussing this with my wife one day and said, “The devil is in the details,” and almost immediately this cartoon popped into my head.
For the purpose of this story, it’d probably be good to suggest that I labored over the details of this drawing, but in truth, I drew it in about 10 minutes. Funny, huh?

We all get lost in the details of things and it keeps most people from even getting started on what they want to do. Perfection is not a reality and it is only through doing and taking action that we can be successful in what we do.
