I’m a big believer in focusing on the little things. On my site, for example, I’ve dithered for days on just a few pixels, wanting to get things to look just so. Of course, it can easily be taken too far, but I think the details matter.

I was discussing this with my wife one day and said, “The devil is in the details,” and almost immediately this cartoon popped into my head.

For the purpose of this story, it’d probably be good to suggest that I labored over the details of this drawing, but in truth, I drew it in about 10 minutes. Funny, huh?
