  1. Really nice that you kick this list off with an article that can remind small business owners not to be so amazed with their own product. In the end, it is still all about the customer and not about how great you are.

    I just want to comment on the cyber security post – I’ve heard so many stories of how small business owners neglect the IT security of their systems, thinking that being “small” means they are immune to cyber threats.

    On contrary, in fact amplified by the fact that small businesses are neglecting IT security, small biz are now the prime target for hacking and cracking.

  3. Yup, that’s a realisation I’m coming to myself re: the first article’s title. The quality of a product can be superb, but it means nothing if no-one sees it.

    Also re: cyber security – it reminds me of what I mentioned in the Small Biz Trends post about credit card fraud — that a small business owner thinking it won’t happen to them is a risky thing to suppose.
