  1. Great article. I just wanted to comment on the Isis nationwide launch. I have an S3 through Verizon so I couldn’t participate in the Google Wallet launch. As an update, I believe Isis has launched already as of a couple of weeks ago. I started being able to use it in NYC a little before Thanksgiving and so far have found some of the introductory deals to be well worth it. If enough consumers start catching on to the promotional deals, small businesses that have POS terminals supporting NFC may have a leg up!

  2. I can only see good things for NFC. I think most people don’t want to carry their cards with them. This new technology will make payments more convenient. And since today’s generation is really technology-savvy, I’m pretty sure that this will just make them more excited.

  3. What if the phone is stolen. Does the process require final authentication by the owner.

  4. I have google wallet and it does store loyalty cards info.

  5. What kind of receipt do you get, using NFC tech?

  6. NFC is really cool technology. But people seem to be ignore that. In India, it is still not popular. I hope it will gain popularity soon
