Jeff Bezos was a computer engineer who decided to leave Wall Street to start an online book store out of his garage. Amazon is now the largest online retailer in the world with a revenue of $74.45 billion in 2013.

  1. Not a coincidence that they’re all programmers, engineers or developers. So what does a marketing guy like me do?

  2. How were they able to do it single-handedly? That would make for an interesting talk and inspiration for others, I feel. Must have taken a super amount of work, regardless of their vision and talent.
