  1. WOW, great article and thank you for the kind mention…I am honored!

  2. I don’t know but I am not a big fan of podcasts as I don’t enjoy listening on the go. It spreads my focus too much that I don’t understand it. But I do see how you can learn from it and how it is effective.

    • Aira,

Thanks for your comment. You don’t have to be on the go in order to listen to podcasts. You could sit down with your computer, tablet, smartphone, and listen to podcasts. You don’t have to more around at the same time! ;)

You could use tools like iTunes, Stitcher, etc., if you want to listen to a podcast. You could also visit the website / blog of the podcast show, and stream the podcast on the site.

Please tell me what kind of computer / tablet / smartphone, you have, and I will guide you… :)

      All the Best,

      Martin

  3. Great list – subscribing to these business podcasts doesn’t mean you have to stream/download or listen to every episode. You choose – so its like have a great audio library on call.

  4. The sentence should be: “You don’t have to move around at the same time! :)” ;)

Move your hands to the keyboard and check out the podcasts! :)

What kind of gadgets / tools do you use when you are listening to podcasts on the go?

    Smartphone, tablet, MP3 player?

    iTunes, Stitcher, Downcast, Overcast, etc.?

  5. Thanks so much for putting this list together! I’m honored to be included here among so many great podcasts. I’m addicted to podcasting and listening to them as well so I’ll make great use of this list. Thanks again!

  6. Hi Martin,

    What a fab list :)

Congrats to all the participants. I found this post on Ileane Smith’s(congrats Ileane!) Google Plus page; had to stop in and read, and share of course too.

I’d love to listen to podcasts but here in the jungles of Fiji, with a simply stick to access the internet, it’s a no go. When I head back to New Jersey in a few months I’ll catch up.

    Tweeting now.

    Thanks for the share Martin.

    Ryan

  7. Great list Martin! And thanks for including the SBT series. It’s great company to be in.

    Thanks again!
    Brent

  8. Wow, great list thanks for this… I love podcast and these are some of my regular ones…

Although it is missing one of the upcoming amazing podcasts GIVING WARRIORS, an amazing collaborative space, they highlight stories about incredible projects/people who are changing our world through both business and philanthropy efforts.

I would recommend this podcast for next year’s list.

Thanks again for a great list

  9. *crosses eyes* A 100? A 100? Where do I start? (rubs hands gleefully)

This is an incredible list. I appreciate the energy that went into creating it.

    Thank you. :)

    • Ebele: Yes, 100 podcasts! ;) You start with …. and then go through the list, back and forth! :)

      Thanks for your kind words!

      • I started from the top, just casually scrolling through the list, open to whatever my eyes might fall on. Quarter way down it, Home Work spoke to me, but then I saw Grit, and that reaaaally resonated, so I’m on that one now :)

        Thanks again.

  10. Ileane: Great to see that you grabbed a badge! :)

  11. Hello Martin,

Thanks so much for mentioning my podcast on this list. It’s such an honor. I’m a podcast junkie and this list has even more podcasts for me to check out. Have a great day, my friend.

    To Your Success,
    Stacie Walker

    • Stacie,

Thanks for your comment! I sent you an email on July 28, regarding podcasting.

If you are podcast “junkie,” please listen to my new podcast show, TrendPal, with co-host, Lotta Gergils Aston! ;)

  12. Martin and Anita, I am again honored again to be included in such awesome company. Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is my 5th year and I cannot believe we have 470K downloads. I guess that answers the age old question about who listens to podcasts? We know they are valuable in the content mix, especially today.

    • Deborah,

Thanks for your kind words! :) Congrats to your 5th year of podcasting and an impressive number of downloads!

I started my first podcast in 2006 on Solid Vox Radio. After that I started an interview series of about 20 episodes on BlogTalkRadio. I have now podcasts on LibSyn, SoundCloud and Audioboo.

After a Social Media Club event in Gothenburg, Sweden, Lotta Gergils Aston and I, decided to start a new podcast show, TrendPal. We have created 5 podcasts so far, including the pilot episode.

I agree with your statement that a podcast could be a valuable ingredient in the content creation mix. The podcast movement will empower the blogosphere.

  13. Wow, great list here, thank you so much for compiling this. And appreciate the mention Cora on our podcast. Happy to hear you enjoy it… For others who are looking to hear provoking and inspiring stories from change makers on philanthropy, social enterprise, social innovation…

Check us out on iTunes or http://www.GivingWarriors.com

Thank you again and hope we have the honor to be part of this list next year

    Dominique

  14. Ebele,

Way to go, browsing through the list of podcasts! If you like Home Work and Grit, maybe my new podcast show, TrendPal, together with co-host, Lotta Aston Gergils, could be to your liking.

      Martin

  16. I have a podcast that addresses Christian women in the marketplace. Check us out. We uplift and inspire using best business practices and the word of God.

    • Angelina Lawrence,

Thanks for your comment. Personally, I think religion and business should be separated, in the same way as church and state.

If you as a podcast listener, have a different opinion, please feel free to check out Shine and Grind net. ;) I believe in the free market place, based on a rational philosophy, so I am all for a real competition of the souls out there in cyberspace!

  18. Great job! I hope to make the 2015 with my WOW Small Buisness podcast. Keep up the great work!

  19. Mollie: Keep up the good work! I did my first podcast in 2006 and did a few interviews on a small private network. I then did a reboot some years later and did an interview series of about 20 episodes (30 – 60 minutes length) on BlogTalkRadio. This year I am focusing on my EGO NetCast show and a new show called TrendPal, with my co-host, Lotta Gergils Aston. We have created 6 episodes so far.

  20. What a comprehensive list! Great to see some of my favorite podcast shows in there — Duct Tape Marketing, Home Work, Entrepreneur on Fire, etc. And I discovered more, too!

  21. I am honored beyond words to be included again on this list with so many outstanding podcasts. I continually strive to bring great guests and their expertise to my audience. Thanks Martin!
