Small Businesses: Bullish on the Economy


2015 economy outlook

With the current state of the economy, small businesses everywhere are having much more confidence then they have in recent years. The team at Wasp Barcode Technologies was curious as to how SMB leaders plan to grow their business in 2015 and where they are planning to spend their earnings. This resulted in an extensive survey of over 1,000 small business owners and executives on their views of the state of small business in 2015. As such, the 2015 State of Small Business Report was created which revealed some very interesting data.

A sampling of results from the actual PDF report have been visually displayed in the infographic below, but here are a few highlights:

  • 57 percent of SMBs predict revenue growth in 2015
  • Companies with 101 to 500 employees believe the economy is better than 2014
  • 54.6 percent plan to work to improve customer experience and retention
  • 38 percent of all SMBs plan to hire new employees in 2015

  1. I think that this will be a lucky year. The first month has been good for us and that is what I am basing my optimism on.

  2. Well it is better to keep fingers crossed before making any wild guesses. But it is possible that stocks may do well under the current scenario.
