Recently, I’ve been bringing a few people on to help with some aspects of the business that aren’t my forte (AKA stuff I hate).
It’s not a skill I’d ever expected to learn and, in the past, my hiring skills left a lot to be desired, but I’m getting better at finding people that are a good fit.
And I’m not at all shy anymore about asking good questions and requesting and reviewing examples of previous work and references.
I’m just hoping I never run into an applicant like in this cartoon.
