Though I might add that a small business owner should also look at their business and decide in the very stages what responsibilities they are comfortable delegating to others so that they spend their time on growing their business and planning its future. Many owners get bogged down trying to do it all themselves in the early startup phase because they simply don’t have the resources to delegate until there is a steady flow of clients and cash. But by deciding early what will trigger the delegation, they can keep from becoming overwhelmed and just spend their days doing the same things over and over.
