With over 12 years of experience managing technology infrastructure, Mr. Smith has a unique view of how technology can impact a small business. He began his career working in the IT departments of two large ad agencies in New York, TBWA and Deutsch, at a time when the interactive department didn't exist.
After a move to LA to focus on web development and emerging mobile trends, Mr. Smith worked on technology initiatives for Earvin "Magic" Johnson and Starbucks Chairman Howard Schultz, as well as several eCommerce sites.
Mr. Smith currently resides in Portland, Oregon. He is president of Mixotic LLC, a technology consulting firm that's main focus is helping small businesses take advantage of free and inexpensive software and services to build a robust technology infrastructure that facilitates communication and enhances productivity.
