TJ publishes Tech Biz Talk. It is a review site for business owners and marketing execs who want to read about the newest and best applications for growing their company and profits. He reviews apps, software, tools, gadgets as well as provides how-to posts and tutorials.
In 2008, I started the Sales Rescue Team to do website reviews for small business owners and entrepreneurs. It evolved in 2011 into what is now TechBizTalk.
My "day job" involves online sales and marketing at Q4 Sales, which is a web publisher and owner of TechBizTalk as well as other niche sites. In the last two decades, I have been involved in multiple startups. The following experiences are not in precise chronological order.
I operated an adventure travel business where we taught and led SCUBA trips, went on caving explorations, and jungle hikes. I've been a dolphin researcher (along with my wife) swimming nearly every day with wild dolphins in the Bahamas Bimini Adventures. It was a tough gig. ;-)
I started a software-as-a-service company called AdventureBase.com that did not survive the dotbomb, but I did survive and learned a ton.
Did a turnaround job for a wireless software company, bought and renovated and sold 6 or 7 houses (that was after my lobotomy, I think). Served in the USAF and am honored to say that I understand service to my country and continue to believe in the people who keep us free.
Completed a 4 year degree in 8 years, but only took 2 years for graduate school. Age brings wisdom, right?
