Customer Focus Launches Free eCommerce Solution For SMEs

  • September 17, 2012

COSTA MESA, Calif., Sept. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ – Customer Focus, a division of Altitude Group Plc. (ALT.L), has become the first software provider to offer free versions of an enterprise level business management software to the 28 million strong SME market in North America.

The complete solution combines web sites and e-commerce with a full business management suite allowing small businesses to enjoy extensive functionality normally only available to companies with substantial IT resources.

Delivered as a Software as a Service (“SaaS”) the Customer Focus solution is ‘cloud’ based and accessible from any PC, Mac, iPad, tablet or Smartphone without the need for any downloads or plug ins.

Based in California with offices in Canada and the UK, Customer Focus is a brand of a multinational corporation that develops, supplies and supports enterprise level cloud-based software tailored to meet the needs of small business owners.

Established in 1999, Customer Focus has thousands of customers worldwide using its legacy client/server applications. After anticipating the need for wide functionality to be available without huge infrastructure cost, Customer Focus invested  further in the development of a SaaS version of this technology, which would take advantage of the flexibility and scalability offered with ‘cloud’ based solutions.

Specialist versions of the SaaS solution were launched for use in the promotional product and print industries in 2011, and have rapidly attracted a large user base with customers ranging in revenue from $50,000 to $50 million.

The product road map has seen the addition of key new features including enhanced marketing tools, a business intelligence suite and integration with market leading companies such as QuickBooks and Constant Contact. CustomerFocus.com will be available to all small businesses from November 2012.

VP of SaaS, Deborah Wilkinson, comments: “We know that small businesses face significant challenges when it comes to competing for business online, and we’ve developed CustomerFocus.com to help level the playing field.

Right from the beginning we focused on making Customer Focus fast to set up and easy to use, and when combined with our unique Free Training for Life option, ensures that SMEs can run their businesses efficiently and effectively. With the free solution, even those with a tiny IT budget can increase awareness, grow sales and engage with customers and prospects.”
