Micro Office Solutions to Launch NYC Times Square Coworking and Incubator Space

NEW YORK, Jan. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Micro Office Solutions, a managed office space company that provides coworking and incubator workspaces to startups and small businesses, has marked its tenth anniversary by launching its fifth location, subleasing the entire 12th floor at 1601 Broadway in Times Square, a total of 26,000 square feet. When launched in early February, the office suite will provide workspaces and business services to both technology and traditional startups and small businesses.

“Tech is taking over Times Square,” said Micro Office Principal and Co-Founder David Rotbard. “Our commitment to this location highlights the significant expansion of tech companies from Silicon Alley neighborhoods to Midtown Manhattan, where there are often considerable real estate savings and conveniences over trendier tech neighborhoods.”

Micro Office, in a partnership with The Hatchery, a business incubator that specializes in producing collaborations between emerging tech companies and investors, will provide members at Micro Office-Times Square with workshops, seminars and special events to enhance member experience and collaboration. The Hatchery will also lease space at the office suite.

“With tech companies like The Hatchery increasingly stretching out into traditionally corporate neighborhoods like Midtown, the Times Square office suite is a natural addition to our portfolio,” added Rotbard.

In addition to programming, Micro Office-Times Square will feature a variety of alternative workspaces, including lounges, shared desks, dedicated desks and private offices with sweeping views of Times Square below. A wide range of business services will be available to all members, including receptionists, wired conference rooms, telecommunications services and 24/7 access. Micro Office Solutions, which this year expects to launch in San Francisco and Chicago, has additional NYC locations at 902 Broadway, 1375 Broadway, 122 West 27th Street, and 36 West 20th Street.
