Philadelphia Conference Partners with Entrepreneur Magazine to Find Entrepreneur of 2013

  • June 13, 2013

PHILADELPHIA, June 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Small business owners and entrepreneurs will gather in Philadelphia for the inaugural America Talks Business conference on July 25, 2013. The conference’s national media partner, Entrepreneur Magazine, is seeking entries for its “Entrepreneur of 2013” competition which includes Entrepreneur of 2013, Emerging Entrepreneur of 2013 and College Entrepreneur of 2013. Entries are due by June 17.

The conference is produced by marketing expert David Newman, author of the book “Do It Marketing: 77 Instant Action Ideas to Boost Sales, Maximize Profits and Crush Your Competition. “America Talks Business is a gathering of entrepreneurs, executives and business owners under the theme of ‘Big ideas for growing companies.’ We’re thrilled to partner with Entrepreneur Media on promoting their contest because it is so perfectly in line with what our conference is all about – smart entrepreneurs doing great things to make a big difference in the world,” said Newman, who delivers keynote speeches and marketing seminars for corporations, entrepreneurial groups and association meetings nationwide.

According to Rocky Vy, national community marketing manager for Entrepreneur Media, “We’re seeking business owners who are making a positive impact in their community. Winners will be featured in the pages of Entrepreneur magazine and have the chance to tell the story of their business to millions of readers. Winners will also be honored during Entrepreneur Media’s Growth Conference in January 2014, which they’ll be invited to attend.”

“We’re excited to partner with America Talks Business as they launch their Philadelphia conference on July 25th,” Vy said.

Newman says, “America Talks Business is about businesspeople who make things happen – from startups, to established entrepreneurs and even the alpha dogs and mavericks who are creating the next wave of big business success. Our goal is to explore new ways of doing business, challenge attendees to think and do differently, and give entrepreneurs a place to network outside their normal circles. And spreading the word about the Entrepreneur of 2013 contest is a perfect fit with those goals.”
