Top Ten Online Marketing Mistakes with Jim Kukral

Please listen to Small Business Trends Radio today. My guest is Jim Kukral, Publisher of ReveNews.com. Jim’s topic is “Top Ten Online Marketing Mistakes and How to Avoid Them.”

To listen, visit SMBTrendWire.com.

Jim and I prerecorded the show yesterday. When you listen to the show today, Jim and I will actually be together giving a different presentation to a group of direct marketers. All through the magic of technology ….

UPDATE: I just got back in the office and learned that part of the show repeated and one of the four segments was left out. My apologies if you were one of the disappointed listeners. I am working with the radio network to get it corrected in time for the encore presentation and in the podcast. Stay tuned.

UPDATE March 15: The recording is now OK and we have it up at SMBTrendWire.com, along with some brief show notes.

  1. Thanks Anita, it was my honor to be on the show and panel with you. I thought both events went really smooth and provide some real value, which is good. 🙂

  2. Jim, it was my great pleasure and I thank you very much. Your top ten mistakes (done in Leno fashion) helped me understand what I can do better and I am sure others will learn too.

  3. Great interview Anita…I’ve noticed this too that entrepreneurs don’t focus enough on marketing. I think it goes back to the fact that many first time entrepreneurs are engineers or technical people who went to work for themselves. They focus too much on making the product great and consider the marketing an afterthought. Unfortunately, the best product doesn’t always win…and marketing is probably the #1 skill a successful business owner must learn.

    Great stuff,

P.S. I neglected to mention this in my own book, but am considering doing an article on this topic soon at http://www.startbreakingfree.com/book.php
