Along with project and job postings, the site also allows vendors who\u00a0sell to self-employed freelancers to post a profile of their offerings. The\u00a0number of single-person businesses in the U.S. has grown substantially, to over 20 million according to the latest U.S. Census figures.\u00a0 Many consider themselves freelancers.
