This Week’s Business Reading List

Carnival on small business issuesWe have several blog roundups to point you to this week:

  • Dawn Rivers Baker hosts this week’s Carnival of Small Business Issues: The Microbusiness Edition. Dawn is an excellent commentator on microbusiness issues and every one of the posts she has chosen are worth checking out. Michelle Cramer’s entry especially caught my eye: Preparing Your Business for Impending Disaster. Her common-sense post reminds us that no matter how virtual our businesses may seem, in the end we still operate in the physical world and our businesses can be knocked flat by natural disasters.
  • John Crickett at the Business Opportunities and Ideas blog hosts this week’s Carnival of the Capitalists. A must-read is Mike Buckley’s reminder about getting in the game if you want to win in business: How Not to Lose.
  • And be sure to check out Blawg Review #134 at Eric Turkewitz’s Personal Injury Law Blog. He manages to tie it to a theme of the New York Marathon — and it is a marvel of a post that must have taken many hours to put together.

If you write a blog and are looking for ways to attract new readers, you might want to consider hosting a blog carnival or entering one of your articles into a carnival.  Search and enter over at BlogCarnival.com.
