Four women SCORE leaders offer their insights, advice and fresh takes on issues facing women entrepreneurs across America. This is the first blog from SCORE at the national level. In addition, Daria Dolans joins SCORE as a guest blogger during the month of July. For more than 20 years, Daria and her husband Ken have been a trusted source for real money solutions and finance advice. · Peg Corwin, Chicago SCORE, www.scorechicago.org. Peg Corwin has held licenses as a certified public accountant, insurance agent, securities broker and investment advisor. She has demonstrated leadership in sales, finance, market research and management. Her industry experience spans nonprofits, real estate, financial services and investment consulting. · Betty Otte, Orange County SCORE, www.score114.org. Betty Otte is an entrepreneur with an executive Harvard MBA and 16 years of franchise experience. During her extensive career, she owned, operated, grew and sold numerous franchises. She is also a marketing and management expert. Betty is a district director for Orange County SCORE in California, and she serves on the SCORE Advisory Council. She is a SCORE counselor and mentor.
· Christine Banning, SCORE Association, www.score.org. Christine Banning is a marketing expert and the vice president of marketing and communications for SCORE. She leads strategic brand management, marketing, alliances, and public relations and communications. Christine speaks nationally on branding, entrepreneurship, marketing and small business identity. She serves on the board of directors of the Dress for Success affiliate in Washington, D.C. She is an honorary member of New York City SCORE.
