I generally try to avoid puns. While I love a good groaner with friends and family, when it comes to cartooning, I like to steer clear. Still, sometimes one gets through.
I remember I was listening to the radio, heard the word ‘non-profit,’ and the joke part of my brain clicked on. After some playing around with the gag, I’d initially tossed this one aside as too easy, but the opportunity to do a fresher take on the mountaintop guru cliche was too good to pass up.
