PayCycle Makes Easy 1099 E-File Service Available

Palo Alto, CA (PRESS RELEASE – January 5, 2009) – PayCycle, Inc., America’s #1 online payroll service, today announced the availability of its 1099-MISC E-File service for small business owners. PayCycle offers this standalone service every year during the busy tax season when small business owners are looking for ways to cut costs and reduce the time required to process year-end filings. Annual 1099-MISC forms are typically required to cover payments made to independent contractors and must be electronically filed with the IRS by March 31, 2009. With the PayCycle® 1099 E-File service, available for just $25.00 for up to 50 contractors, the task is completed in three easy steps:

1. Entering the appropriate recipient data online through a web-based form.

2. Printing the 1099 forms for each contractor and,

3. Electronically filing the federal 1099-MISC form with the IRS with a single click.

“At PayCycle we understand that small business owners look for all the help they can get to complete year-end tasks. They want to focus on running their businesses and minimize the time and energy devoted to cumbersome payroll filings,” said Jim Heeger, president and CEO of PayCycle, Inc. “Our 1099 service, proven and tested, is fast, reliable and affordable.”

“PayCycle’s 1099 E-File service is the efficient way to file contractor documents. Previously, I would buy 1099 and 1096 forms, print them, go to the post office to send the 1096s by certified mail, check on delivery to the IRS – and then do the whole thing again when there was a problem!,” said Diane Hagglund, DH Marketing. “Now, with PayCycle’s 1099 service, I can enter recipient data online and file the form electronically with a click of a button saving a lot of time and hassle. This is a must have service for all small business owners paying independent contractors.”

Just $25.00 for up to 50 Contractors

The PayCycle standalone 1099-MISC E-File service costs just $25 to print and file up to 50 forms. Small business owners must print or file 1099 forms before January 27 to get this discounted price. The price increases to $39 on January 27.

The IRS requires that employers distribute 1099 forms by February 2, 2009 to all independent contractors paid at least $600 in 2008. Businesses then have until March 31, 2009 to file electronically with the IRS. PayCycle 1099 E-File service is available from January 1,2009 – April 25,2009. PayCycle’s service extends beyond the March 31st IRS deadline to accommodate late filers. Helpful IRS information about whether a small business needs to file 1099 MISC can be found here.
