New Sprint Business Advantage Plans

Overland Park, Kansas (PRESS RELEASE – September 27, 2009) — Sprint (NYSE: S) Business Advantage  pricing plans, available now, pack more value, flexibility and simplicity than any other similar pricing plans for business. They feature the flexibility businesses need for today’s mobile work force and to help them cut the cord.

Customers can mix and match plans that include voice only, voice and messaging, or voice, messaging and data. The Business Advantage Messaging and Data plan also includes the new Any Mobile, Anytime  voice feature, which allows customers on the plan to get unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling from the Sprint network to ANY wireless phone on any U.S. wireless carrier network at any time. This means unlimited everything — unlimited messaging, data and voice — to any of the more than 250 million wireless customers in the U.S. at any time.

Small business owners to IT managers of large businesses concerned about their bottom line will appreciate the value of Sprint Business Advantage plans. Customers will have business-grade communications tools included in their plans at a price that beats ATT Business Pooled Nation plans and Verizon’s Nationwide for Business Plans with comparable features. In addition to the market-leading pricing, all plans deliver more value with unlimited Direct Connect® and Group Connect® at no additional charge, and unlimited nights and weekends starting at 7 p.m.

Other highlights of the industry-leading Business Advantage plans include:

* Pooled anytime minutes, available across all users on the account
* Nextel Direct Connect, the only national push-to-talk service featuring guaranteed call set-up in less than a second and the world’s largest community of users
* Unlimited messaging, data, GPS navigation, and BlackBerry Internet service in convenient value bundles
* Flexible plan options for users of all types

Sprint Business Advantage is an evolution of Sprint’s long-running Business Essentials plans. The simplified Business Advantage plans are ideal for businesses of any size, from those with a single line to those with thousands of lines. Customers currently taking advantage of Sprint’s Business Essentials plans will be able to continue with those plans until they are ready to switch to Business Advantage.

“No competitor can match our network assets, best-in-class convergence solutions, expanding 4G footprint, and wide portfolio of business products and devices,” said Tim Donahue, vice president of Business Marketing, Sprint. “Now, when you add in our new Business Advantage plans, especially when combined with the Any Mobile, Anytime feature, no one can beat Sprint on value and competitive pricing. The plans can help businesses cut the cord and save money by purchasing based on the features they most use.”

  1. Bought the Garmin Nuvi 265WT for my wife who travels around the state of Pennsylvania for her job. We used it only last week to take a vacation trip down to Myrtle Beach. The unit was fast and accurate! In fact, I noticed that when the speed limit changed either by going up or down, the speed limit on the display changed almost at the EXACT same spot as the new posted speed limit on the side of the road did! Wow! I missed a couple of turns by not paying attention but the GPS unit re-calculated and told me where to turn to get back on the route.
Pretty Cool! We only experienced one minor thing. It re-calculated right in the middle of a giagantic interchange. We drove slower and waited while it re-calculated our route. Just to make sure we were going on the right route.

No, Thank You
