ATL Entrepreneur Summit – Helping Small Businesses Recover!

Atlanta, GA (PRESS RELEASE – November 4, 2009) – MyTrueBiz, in association with ABC-Biz Events, will host its 4th Annual Small Business Conference, Entrepreneur Summit 2009, at the Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center, 246 Perimeter Center Parkway NE, on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

This year’s conference will facilitate networking amongst a wide cross section of entrepreneurs and industry professionals from the Metro Atlanta area and conference attendees.

Inspired by the recent national economic crisis, this year’s conference goal is to empower and encourage participants to start their own businesses as well as foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship which is needed in today’s more challenging business environment. Existing entrepreneurs will learn financial management, marketing, social media and technology based techniques to enhance their overall professional development, productivity and profits.

Keynote speakers for the Entrepreneur Summit 2009 include Vic Bolton, President of Capital Strategic Communications, a full-service PR firm based in Atlanta and Trina Newby, Founder and President of Women About Biz, who has written several workbooks and guides giving instruction and inspiring individuals to effectively start and grow their businesses.

“This Summit has something for everyone. We are excited about the possibility of empowering business owners and displaced corporate workers with tools to help them succeed in this economy.” says Mark McDonald, partner of MyTrueBiz and one of this year’s event organizers.

Simone Joye, a candidate for the State House District 88 in 2010 and conference guest speaker agrees. “Although it is rarely publicized, the fact remains small businesses are the largest employers in America–accounting for every two out of three jobs. Conducting an event specifically to help small businesses in Georgia is instrumental to our economic development and recovery efforts.”
