The Control-Alt-Delete Clause

The Control-Alt-Delete Clause

I’m a bit of a tech junkie.  I bought the iPhone as soon as it came out, I bought the iPad when it came out, and I’ll buy whatever else is coming out next week as soon as it comes out – I can’t help it.

So when I bought the latest greatest keyboard for my office, I was admiring it closely. That’s when I noticed the good old ESC key in the upper left. It then struck me that we’re very, very used to keys on a computer keyboard that never existed on typewriters just 20 or 30 years ago.

After closer examination, the classic CTRL+ALT+DEL came to mind and the above cartoon wasn’t far behind.  It’s pretty nerdy, but when my mom even understood it, I thought it was OK.

    Mark,

Funny cartoon! iPhone Control-Alt-Delete function is the power button and the “home” (square symbol) pushed at the same time. Or is it the camera snapshot photo feature?! 😉

  2. Great cartoon, Mark.

    Escape! (I love that button!)

    The Franchise King

  3. I feel this way a lot. Where’s the button to start over! Of course you lose data, but hey Edison looked at it as erasing all his mistakes when his lab went up in smoke… Thanks Mark!
