  1. Hi Anita,
I daresay that anyone who reads your publications, your blog, is trying to figure out how to make money via blogging, even if not directly. Meaning they might not view their blog as an advertising or sponsored vehicle, but that they hope it will drive new traffic, new leads, new sales to their front door. If they are blogging for other reasons, I’d love to know what they are doing with it.

  2. Thank you for the kind words and the link Anita. Your monetization super panel is one of the sessions I am personally looking forward to.

  3. Hi TJ, I guess it all depends on how you define “monetization” — I can see how some businesses might want a blog more for customer service purposes, for instance. But you make a great point about business blogs. At the end of the day if they don’t serve business purposes (directly or indirectly leading to new business) then it is going to be hard to justify the investment in one.

  4. Hi Rick, looking forward to meeting you there! Meeting other business owners and entrepreneurs is one of the key reasons I go to events. I love to network and solidify relationships that started online, with offline reaffirmation.

  5. As much as I would love to Anita, I cannot afford to. Its way to expensive for me to attend the conf. I would love to learn and grow and one day be at these conf’es. That is why I follow bloggers like you to learn.
