WebVisible Enhances Online Advertising Platform





Irvine, California (PRESS RELEASE – November 18, 2010) – WebVisible announced new enhancements to its award-winning Geneva Technology Platform, designed to help small businesses expand their online presence and attract consumers through both paid and organic listings.

The new features include .tel landing pages that are optimized for mobile search, making it easier for consumers to find useful, local results directly from their mobile phones; expanded listings within up to 300 specialty directories, to broaden an online advertiser’s reach; and deployment of all advertiser landing pages on the Amazon Cloud Front network, providing near-instant load of even complex video content.  All three enhancements improve the experience of consumers searching for a local product or service, making it faster and easier to find what they’re looking for – thereby driving more business to individual online advertisers.

“The search methods people use to find local businesses change almost daily, and we’re providing new ways get our advertisers in front of their customers,” said Doug LaBahn, executive vice president of product development at WebVisible.   “Consumers want convenience, and these enhancements deliver convenience with landing pages that load instantly, are easy to read on mobile devices, and are accessible from virtually every directory listing the consumer is likely to search.”

On average, consumers are using roughly eight different media sources when shopping for products or services in their local areas, according to BIA/Kelsey.  By expanding the distribution of business listings, advertisers gain brand recognition as well as increasing the opportunity to generate leads.  The platform enhancements will also boost SEO for each advertiser by adding content rich URLs to promote the business.  These new features are being rolled out to all WebVisible customers over the next 90 days.
