So I’m at the airport and for whatever reason my super-duper smartphone, which is apparently from the not-too-distant future, just will not find a signal.
Okay, no big deal, except that apparently everyone around me is busily typing away, being productive (or not), and enjoying some sort of WiFi that has shunned me and my poor little gadget.
What I wouldn’t have done for five minutes of good, strong WiFi. Would I have gone as far as the criminal in this cartoon? Probably not.

Mark: We are getting more and more used to hook up our mobile devices to the Internet. I think we will see more of services like free hotspots at gateways and airline terminals.
Mark, that is such a true cartoon. Technology can get so frustrating sometimes. I just tried my Kindle Fire and I cannot get it to work. I’m an author and my book is on Kindle so I wanted to see if I could see what it looks like and this nifty machine just won’t let it work. Hooray for technology…
