    • I really enjoyed that post. I know what you mean in segmenting. However, can you also provide a link to a process on how you can do that. The main reason why people send a single e-mail to their whole database is that it is such a hassle to segment their subscribers. If only there is an easy way to do that, then our lives will be easier.

        You’re right. It’s difficult if you don’t know how. The best way to segment is to use the data you have in your CRM system. All good CRM systems allow you to export lists based on specific criteria.

        For example, if you wanted to send an email to everyone who lives in New York City, you would export a list based on something like ‘City = New York City’.

        Once you have this list, you can upload it to your email marketing software and then select this list when creating the email campaign.
