  1. Serenity and I enjoyed reading this thought provoking blog post. I know there are quite a few assumptions we’ve held onto: (1) if certain things worked in the past, they will work in the future, (2) if my family and friends say that I won’t make money on the Internet I should listen to them, or (3) it might be a waste of time to host our own webinar or try something else new.

Success in online business really does require to maintain an open mind and be willing to learn new technology. It’s almost like a survival of the fittest. As entrepreneurs we shouldn’t limit ourselves to just one way of doing things and assume there are no other ways. Instead, we should challenge our assumptions, argue our limitations, and be willing to stretch and grow.

That is because in questioning assumptions is where the magic happens. When you find that an assumption is not necessarily true by questioning it. You get to test it out and see if it is real. From there, you’ll be able to see if something is really true or not.

  4. Barry great article. One of my most important platforms or topics for entrepreneurs at is ‘Daring to Fail’ by taking the necessary strategic risks. You make a great point regarding not just dissecting the failures but looking at the success. The IBM scenario is so telling. Any variable can change the outcome from success to failure so knowing WHY it was a success and planning for the possibility of change definitely puts a business ahead of the game to play offense and not defense. 5. Great article, I definitely agree that just because your successful doesn’t mean that you do not have to keep trying new things. Thanks for sharing!
