I don’t know but I am not a big fan of podcasts as I don’t enjoy listening on the go. It spreads my focus too much that I don’t understand it. But I do see how you can learn from it and how it is effective.

    • Martin Lindeskog

Thanks for your comment. You don’t have to be on the go in order to listen to podcasts. You could sit down with your computer, tablet, smartphone, and listen to podcasts. You don’t have to more around at the same time! πŸ˜‰

You could use tools like iTunes, Stitcher, etc., if you want to listen to a podcast. You could also visit the website / blog of the podcast show, and stream the podcast on the site.

Please tell me what kind of computer / tablet / smartphone, you have, and I will guide you… πŸ™‚

  6. Hi Martin,

    What a fab list πŸ™‚

Congrats to all the participants. I found this post on Ileane Smith’s(congrats Ileane!) Google Plus page; had to stop in and read, and share of course too.

I’d love to listen to podcasts but here in the jungles of Fiji, with a simply stick to access the internet, it’s a no go. When I head back to New Jersey in a few months I’ll catch up.

    Tweeting now.

    Thanks for the share Martin.

  7. Brent Leary

Although it is missing one of the upcoming amazing podcasts GIVING WARRIORS, an amazing collaborative space, they highlight stories about incredible projects/people who are changing our world through both business and philanthropy efforts.

I would recommend this podcast for next year’s list.

Thanks again for a great list

Ebele: Yes, 100 podcasts! πŸ˜‰ You start with …. and then go through the list, back and forth! πŸ™‚

      Thanks for your kind words!

      • I started from the top, just casually scrolling through the list, open to whatever my eyes might fall on. Quarter way down it, Home Work spoke to me, but then I saw Grit, and that reaaaally resonated, so I’m on that one now πŸ™‚

        Thanks again.

    • Martin Lindeskog

Thanks for your kind words! πŸ™‚ Congrats to your 5th year of podcasting and an impressive number of downloads!

I started my first podcast in 2006 on Solid Vox Radio. After that I started an interview series of about 20 episodes on BlogTalkRadio. I have now podcasts on LibSyn, SoundCloud and Audioboo.

After a Social Media Club event in Gothenburg, Sweden, Lotta Gergils Aston and I, decided to start a new podcast show, TrendPal. We have created 5 podcasts so far, including the pilot episode.

I agree with your statement that a podcast could be a valuable ingredient in the content creation mix. The podcast movement will empower the blogosphere.

Thanks for your comment. Personally, I think religion and business should be separated, in the same way as church and state.

Mollie: Keep up the good work! I did my first podcast in 2006 and did a few interviews on a small private network. I then did a reboot some years later and did an interview series of about 20 episodes (30 – 60 minutes length) on BlogTalkRadio. This year I am focusing on my EGO NetCast show and a new show called TrendPal, with my co-host, Lotta Gergils Aston. We have created 6 episodes so far.

  20. What a comprehensive list! Great to see some of my favorite podcast shows in there — Duct Tape Marketing, Home Work, Entrepreneur on Fire, etc. And I discovered more, too!

  22. Hi Martin

Just found out I’ve been featured on this list.

Many thanks for including me – it’s an honour πŸ™‚

  23. Great list! Some of my favorites are here, and I’ve picked up a few new shows to download.
There’s also a great list at New Media Expo Podcast Choice awards. They have a business category- my first show about reinvention was honored as a finalist in 2012 and 2013. We’ve expanded our focus to entrepreneurship. We launched a new series on called “Inside the Entrepreneurial Mind”. We’d love to get feedback on the new series; you can also email me directly and we can share stories.

  24. Great list. I launched a podcast this past summer and have been getting some great traction on the ratings. Small Business Naked is all about telling the stories of successful small business owners, from the perspective of two small business owners. We focus on talking to mostly brick and mortar businesses with employees from around the world…from driving race cars, to cutting grass, making doughnuts, and selling diamonds, the businesses owners that we talk to are usually successful in their region, but have spoken to and will speak to some great national and international founders. To name drop, we have the founder of 1(800)Got-Junk, The Shane Co., and Threadless all in the cure for 2015, and past guest have been from Voodoo Doughnuts, 99Designs, and many smaller businesses just killing it. Please consider us for the 2015 list, and let us know who you’d like to hear from. Thanks!

  25. Hey Martin – great list – thanks for putting this together every year.

We’re a bit into 2015, and I’m curious if you’ve come across yet.

We’re just over a year into the show and have recorded 120+ amazing short-form interviews with folks like Hiten Shah and Jason Cohen.

    Worth a look πŸ˜‰
