October 31, 2014 – The Small Business Influencer Awards announce the 2014 Top 100 Champions, Community Choice, and Honorable Mention Honorees.
The Small Business Influencer Awards, now in their fourth year, recognize those companies, people, apps and organizations that support the small business market in North America. The Awards are a community initiative between Small Business Trends and SmallBizTechnology.com.
This year, two new categories were introduced to also recognize Influencers for what they have delivered to clients and customers: Growth Story and Marketing Campaign.
With over 34,000 community votes, thousands of social media mentions, and an all-star judging panel, the Small Business Influencer Awards have come to represent and honor those individuals and companies who have had a positive impact on the small business market.
The 2014 Top 100 Champions
Says Anita Campbell, CEO of Small Business Trends and one of the co-founders of the Awards, “Choosing just 100 Small Business Influencer Champions was a difficult but rewarding process for our Judges. With so many important and impactful players in the small market space, it is understandably a challenge to narrow it down.”

Honorable Mentions
The Honorable Mention Honorees are individuals and businesses who deserve recognition, or are up-and-comers to watch for their contribution to the small business market. That list of Honorable Mentions can be found here.
The Community Choice Winners
Each year, the small business community rallies around those experts, leaders, corporations, apps, journalists, and news resources (with the two new category additions this year) and supports them by casting votes for their favorites. The Community Choice winners are chosen by their peers in the small business community. Find this year’s Community Choice Honorees for each category here.
Celebrating the Honorees
Each year, the Small Business Influencer Awards are capped off by a world-class Gala, where each of the illustrious Champions and Honorees are commended. This year’s Gala will is co-located with the Small Business Summit, and will be held on October 22, 2014 in New York City. More details on the two events can be found here.
“The Small Business Influencer Awards Ceremony is one of the most important events of the year for winners of the Influencer Awards, as well as other small business owners,” says Influencer Awards co-founder Ramon Ray of SmallBizTechnology.com, “I’m thrilled that the Awards Gala will be co-located with the 9th Annual Small Business Summit.”
About the Small Business Influencer Awards
The Small Business Influencer Awards, now in their fourth year, enable the small business community to nominate and show their support for those that influence and support them. The Awards have an open nomination period, along with community voting, and then a judging period by a group of industry-knowledgeable judges.
The Small Business Influencer Awards initiative is produced by Small Business Trends, an award-winning online publication, serving over 6,000,000 small business owners, stakeholders and entrepreneurs annually, and SmallBizTechnology.com, a media company that produces online content and live events educating small and mid-sized companies on how to strategically use technology as a tool to grow their businesses. The Awards can be found on the Web at: SMBInfluencers.com.
