  1. It hasn’t been called Outright for sometime now (purchased by godaddy in 2012). It’s called GoDaddy Online Bookkeeping.

    • Yes, thanks for pointing that out.

Actually, we are aware that the accounting software itself has been renamed to GoDaddy Online Bookkeeping. We’ve written about it several times here at Small Business Trends under the new name.

However, for some reason it’s still listed as Outright on the eBay site when it comes to the eBay seller app. Perhaps someone from Outright will wander by, see that, and get it changed over at eBay. (I questioned that, too, but decided to leave it under the Outright name until it officially gets changed.)

  2. Thank you for featuring 3 of our apps! We’re constantly working on developing apps that will both improve the eBay shopping experience and help sellers in steering their way to eBay success.
We currently offer over 13 different solutions for eBay sellers including Webstore, Feedback Reminder and PDF catalog. Check them out on eBay’s app center!

  3. Unfortunately, no app will help with the newly released Ebay 3.4. They’ve taken a highly rated app with 4+ stars and instantly turned it into the lowest rated app in the App Store. In 3 weeks, they have had close to 6,000 reviews in the US and have a rating of 1 star. Most of the reviews state that the only gave 1 star because zero was not an option. According to App Annie, the response is equally as poor around the globe.
Ebay has refused its users the ability to revert back to the prior version 3.3.3. They insist that there’s a learning curve and the users will learn to love the new app. They don’t realize that most of the negative reviews have lead to users deleting the app altogether from their iPads and finding other outlets for their time and money.
This may be the topic of an interesting follow up article.

  4. I hope that you consider this topic seriously. Just read the reviews of Ebay for Ipad 3.4 in the App Store and also the comments by users at getsatisfaction.com/ebaymobile. This is supposed to be the site for the Ebay community to get answers from Ebay but they will not answer any questions except ‘how to’ ones.
I have reached out to Ebay Radio as well but without a satisfactory response. Perhaps you can write an article that will be picked up by Yahoo like your prior one was.
They have really insulted their loyal user base.

  5. Over 15,000 negative reviews for the new Ebay app and now they are suspending users who complain. There’s a story there if you’re really interested.

  6. Almost EVERY single one of these apps has TERRIBLE reviews. Most of the reviews actually say that the apps don’t even work. Not sure if any of the eBay compatible apps are not crap.

Leaning towards installing google analytics instead. Anyone have any thoughts?
