  1. The regular schedule is key, but you’ve got to continue to add value or the emails just become annoying and you’ll get more and more unsubscribe requests. It’s a delicate line.

  2. I don’t know about getting personal. But aside from sending e-mails that directly speak to your customers, I think people are quite aware that it is impersonal. I find that videos look much more personal as you see the person talking to you.

    • I think you could become personal, without sharing too private details of your life. The problem with some default settings in the autoresponding messages, is that it could become to personal with “first name” so and so, without the real personalization of the conversation. You could sense that it is a automatic response, instead of a handcrafted, personal letter.
